Lyra Health

An innovative leader in the mental health benefits space, Lyra Health came to Uncommon Bold after having just closed their series B funding and with a strong portfolio of employer clients, including Amgen, Google, and Pinterest. We began with delivering brand strategy support to Lyra by evaluating sales strategies, conducting quantitative and qualitative research with clients, and creating updated messaging for the flagship mental health benefit.

From that foundation of research-driven positioning, Uncommon Bold then helped Lyra Health establish its first-ever media relations program and supported the company with communications expertise and corporate communications support as it grew to a $4.6 billion valuation.

Throughout our partnership of more than two years, we supported Lyra’s work to lead the conversation about the relevance and need for workplace mental health benefits and support while also announcing its new services and product leadership. During this time, Uncommon Bold amplified strategic partnerships with global powerhouses such as Starbucks and Calm, led external communications around Lyra’s international expansion, and fueled top-tier media buzz through four funding rounds, which totaled $572 million. As a result, Uncommon Bold helped grow the brand’s media coverage by 752%.
